Are you in a difficult season? We all land in challenging seasons. These seasons may be a result of:
Our own decisions
The decisions of those around us
Cultural influence
Demonic activity
Natural disasters
Grief
Other
As we experience heartbreaking, scary, and difficult situations, it can feel like there is no hope, that we are discarded, and that nothing good can come of the situation.
However, Scripture tells us a different story. While we are warned that we will experience difficult times, we are promised that the pain is not the end of the story.
God is the ultimate recycler. He can turn our pain, disappointment, trauma, and grief into something beautiful.
Ashes are recycled into a crown of beauty.
Mourning recycles into a blessing.
Despair recycles into festive praise.
Psalm 34:17 reminds us that when we cry for help, the Lord not only hears us but also delivers us.
Isaiah 41:10 reminds us that God will help us and uphold us.
Philippians 4:6- 7 promises us the peace of God, which goes beyond what we understand in the moment. God goes even further and puts a hedge of protection around our hearts and minds.
If you are in the middle of a painful, confusing season, do not despair. While the rug may have been pulled out from under you, the rug is never pulled out from under God. God may not have caused the "junk" season of your life, but He will recycle it in ways you never imagined.
